a chorus of resistance
of heart and action as one
against injustice and greed

when sparks of hope fly
in rooms where people listen
to each other speak

where love and truth reign
and peace is a force
to be reckoned with

of power re-defined
by the oppressed
where a movement of the people
is a compassionate thing
